Admissions Information for 2010-11
Although the Jan. 30 Entrance Placement Testing for incoming 7th, 8th and 9th grade applicants is finished, late applications for 2010-11 are still being accepted. For further information, contact Mrs. Cristy McNay, Director of Admissions, by email or at 805-495-6494, ext. 307.
Honors at Entrance Criteria Honors at Entrance acknowledges the academic excellence of incoming freshmen. Eligibility criteria are • A composite score of the 90th national percentile or above on the High School Placement Test; and
• Registration by the registration deadline--for this year, Friday, March 19. Each Honors at Entrance recipient is recognized at the Parent Guild Evening of Excellence in April and at the graduation/promotion event of the student’s current school. Please note that some students may be eligible for honors level courses without qualifying for Honors at Entrance.

Regent for a Day is an opportunity for applicants for grades 7 through 10 to learn more about La Reina by shadowing a current student throughout a school day. A complimentary lunch will be provided. To participate in Regent for a Day, - An Application Form and Applicant Questionnaire must be on file with the Admissions Office.
- A reservation for Regent for a Day must be made in advance.
- A completed permission slip must be received prior to the scheduled visit.

9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | Step-Up Day for Prospective Freshmen
Students currently in 8th grade are invited to learn more about LRHS, its academics, activities, athletics and more. Complimentary snacks and lunch are provided. Transportation is arranged by the guest's family. A permission slip, signed by the prospective student's parent, is required and must be received by Oct. 16, 2009.
