About The TeamThe Golf Team at La Reina High School is open to all students grades 9 through 12. Some golfing experience is a prerequisite as the team is extremely competitive within our league. New players should have some "on course" knowledge and experience. Golf is a Fall sport for girls. Six players compete at the Varsity level in matches with 5 of the 6 player's scores counting toward match victories. The remaining players practice and play a J.V. schedule when available. The team is coached by Mr. Bob Sisco and Assistant Coach Mr. Roger DeBruno. Try-Out InformationGolf Try-Outs will begin August 6, 2007 at La Reina High School. Start time will be 3:00PM daily (Please arrive a few minutes early as we will start PROMPTLY at 3:00 PM). Needs: - A set of golf clubs, bag, and golf shoes (preferable to Tennis Shoes and they must have soft spikes)
- Golf Attire (No jeans, denim, or dresses). Bermuda shorts and a collared golf shirt are ok.
- You are responsible for your own golfballs, tees, divot tool, ball markers, rule book, and towels.
- You will be walking all the time, so be prepared.
