Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, I would have never dreamed that I would be living in Southern California. What a pleasant and wonderful experience it has been thus far. To top that off, I am able to work at an outstanding school such as La Reina. I am blessed.
My twenty-seven years in education have crossed many bridges, from teaching pre-school to 6th grade and many levels in between. It was only after teaching for thirteen years that I decided to obtain my administration credentials. I earned my M. Ed and Illinois Administrative credential from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. My work in administration has been as principal of a parish grade school for eight years and for four years as principal of a high school.
In the upcoming school year, I have been appointed as the Interim Head of School, truly an honor. I look forward to leading the school during this year of transition and working with the dedicated and committed faculty and staff and families of La Reina High School and Middle School.
During my tenure as Interim Head of School, I hope to reach out to our community partners to share the outstanding education of La Reina High School and Middle School. I want our community to know that La Reina is a vibrant educational institution committed to the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame and that we are looking forward to many years ahead of offering a quality education to girls in our community.
Ms. Anne Coffey Rog
