The La Reina Fund
Frequently Asked Questions

May I designate how my gift will be used?

Your gift may be unrestricted toward La Reina’s “greatest need,” or designated to support a specific department or activity, tuition assistance, or other student program.

Where do the La Reina Fund dollars go?

  • To tuition assistance, an increasingly important decision-making factor in the ability of many families to enroll their daughters.
  • To equipment for student use in the new STEM/Robotics lab including engineering desktops, a 3D scanner, drill presses and lathes.
  • To pottery wheels for student use in the new Ceramics Studio.
  • To professional development opportunies for our cherished faculty.

Does it matter when I make my gift?

All gifts to the La Reina Fund 2015-16 initiative will be gratefully accepted through June 30, 2016. However, we encourage you to make your gift by February 9, so that we may:

  • Deliver a personalized Valentine on your behalf to someone special.
  • Count your gift (if your daughter is currently enrolled) toward the homeroom goal of 100%—the level of participation needed to ensure your daughter enjoys a special Valentine’s party!

Will my gift be recognized publicly?

We will be delighted to acknowledge gifts of all levels in the spring/summer issue of La Reina’s school magazine, La Reina Today.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

Contributions are tax-deductible subject to Internal Revenue Service limitations and guidelines.

Who do I contact if I have additional questions?
