A veritable toolkit for singers, the La Reina Vocal Arts Class offers applicable skills for the developing young singer. Course work includes daily group technique and ear training as well as intense studies of music theory and composition, vocal literature and practical interpretation work. Led by Heidi Valencia Vas, B.M., M.M., (founding director of the CLU Summer Vocal Institute and Pepperdine Voice Faculty) students are encouraged to develop solo skills using a master class approach. Culminating events include appearances at the La Reina Singers concert and the Fine Arts Showcase.
