Job Description
La Reina is a Catholic, college preparatory high school and middle school, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame. Our mission is to educate young women in a nurturing environment of educational excellence and to help young women develop into moral and self-confident leaders who work for the transformation of individuals and society.
La Reina is currently seeking an Advancement Assistant to support the Advancement Department to ensure the successful execution of the schools' annual fundraising plan.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Administrative support for the Director of Philanthropy & Communications, and Associate Director, Annual fund, in the fulfillment of departmental duties.
- Prepare donor acknowledgment letters and other correspondence;
- Assist fundraising team with large mailings, preparation of donor packets;
- Track donor recognition and stewardship efforts; enter data for donations in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (constituent management system) proactively perform data hygiene in Raiser's Edge and assist with tracking and recording donor actions and other cultivation and stewardship activities;
- Maintain and ensure thoroughness of donor files;
- Coordinate meetings;
- Manage all matching gift requests;
- Help to plan and execute major donor meetings, luncheons and events; create and manage event budgets; planning timelines; coordination of vendors and equipment needed, track all event data including invitation lists, RSVPs; serve as primary "day of" logistics orchestrator and troubleshooter; facilitate post-event follow-up activities; and conduct post-event appraisals to determine event effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
- Minimum two years administrative experience required.
- Nonprofit development experience preferred.
- Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge preferred.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Skilled in basic desktop publishing using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or similar software.
- Experience working with donors and volunteers preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail required.
- Ability to work independently and edit own work.
- Ability to establish and monitor priorities; maintain flexibility and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
